Spellcasters and fairies: can they be friends

Thank you all for sharing your experience with spellcasters and fairies. It sounds like it isn't as bad as I feared. Now I can look forward to playing early next week

I have a fairy and  spellcaster couple.  I didn't know this about them. They were already married with 2 daughters though. 

My spellcaster sim befriended a fairy and had no negative relationship at first, but they were both children. My adult spellcaster had a rough start with a fairy or two, but they were extremely negligible. Some didn't even start with a negative relationship buff.

All of these are spellcasters interacting with fairies first. It might be more difficult if fairies initiate things, since they're the aggrieved ones. But aside from that, it's not really noticeable for me. 

I've only been playing a little so far, so I don't know if it's different when they meet for the first time. Created a family with a spellcaster and a fairy, and although there are some interactions where the fairy can yell at the spellcaster and other things I haven't tried yet, they started out friendly. Heck, the fairy even quickly turned the relationship with the vampire to green levels. Didn't even take a day, and now my only issues are the vampire and the werewolf.

Looks promising so far, which I'm grateful for. Gonna test out how the fairy reacts to spellcasting.

TBH, I assume so. I do not have Growing Together but from what I understand about dynamics it is basically the same thing (format) split up between the two EPs and their respective themes.

HollownessDevour​ lovestruck is the one EP I don't have and don't plan on getting it. Let's hope social compatibility from growing together has a similar effect and allows to overcome any differences. 

I only did the quickest test yesterday with a fairy/spellcaster household. At first start of the play it did look like they start at the slightest negative friendship level. But quickly the romantic trait fairy Sim (coupled with Lovestruck EP) was autonomously talking/flirting with the spellcasters and "Unpredictable" romantic dynamic cropped up pretty fast.
