Split Household Inventory/Take Furniture Upon Moving Sim Out?

Are there any work arounds, or any additions to the game that will allow us to send furniture with a young adult Sim who is moving out of the family home? (I’m pretty sure we weren’t able to as of a ...

Been searching and I think if I move the whole family out, and then split the parents (plus younger sibling) back into their original house, that might work. As long as I have everything I want the YA to take in the family inventory at the time of the original move?
