Has anyone tried entering multiple played households in the same fair?
I.e., if I go to the fair with Household A, set up their entries, save and go to manage worlds, open Household B, take Household B to the fair, and enter Household B's items, will it reset Household A's entries, or will they both still be entered? If so, and if the winning entry is for a household other than the one I'm currently in, will they still receive the prizes? Or households, plural, I guess, since in theory you could have 3 or 4 households enter in this way, one receives first prize, one receives second prize, etc. If it works at all.
I'm hoping to eventually have all my farming households up and running so that all or most of the entries can be from played sims, and these darned townies can stop running away with all of the ribbons.
In case anyone is interested, I did test this out. The answer is yes, you can have multiple households pop in and enter their items, and the entries will not reset. However, that being said, on my first attempt, the sim I really wanted to win went there first, with a perfect oversized pumpkin and chocolate pie. The other sims I subsequently entered only had excellent and normal items. I reopened my first sim's household just as the fair was ending, and she had been sent home and got pop-up notifications for participation awards. So I exited without saving and reopened it, and she had won first place for the pumpkin and second for the pie.
So I guess basically my advice is, you can have multiple households enter the fair at the same time, but I would try to leave plenty of time before the fair ends and enter the sim you most want to win last, so that you are on the lot with them before it ends.
