I couldn't resist, I finally caved and got Home Chef Hustle SP. My sims now exist on a diet of waffles.
I've also enjoyed Lovestruck more than I thought I would - the clothes are super cute.
I am a fan of Home Chef Hustle: the mixer, the waffle maker, the extra cooking step, etc. just adds depth to cooking, and is compatible with Simple Living, so added challenge.
