STAIR MANIPULATION - PLEASE HELP

Hi everyone I was looking at staircase designs, I want to make a grand staircase but using this half example - I found this build on the gallery by @Emerald7502 1870s Victorian Mansion - I would please like to know if anyone know's how to build this or have a link on a tutorial on how? Mmmm, you should see the option as long as your game is updated @Orchidah1. After placing stairs, click on them and look for a 'box with two arrows' (like the one in the top side of the stairs in your image).

Also Carl's Sims Guide has a quick tutorial and I believe the big Youtubers like Simsie have them
