Stair problems, help

I think a lot of techie players often forget that many other players cannot build for toffee and I am one of them so I had to go through all my lots that had taken me some time to find/choose and delete whatever I thought was necessary to make the stairs work again which left the top of the stairs looking really ugly but I thought no matter maybe this will get fixed soon. How many Patch updates have there been since then with missed opportunities to fix this? way too many in my humble opinion. In my Game I have had to delete about a third of all my lots with stairs in my game because the fix did not work for some reason and then had to to take the time to find replacement builds for them all. These days I try to only download one storey homes to avoid this situation which means I have to overlook a lot of beautiful lots out there on the gallery just in case the stairs don't work.. At this stage I don't want further hair colors I want fixes to old issues..
