Starving Vampire

OK so I know vamps can eat plasma fruit, drink plasma packs ( 3 kind I have found so far) but even a "perfect" state plasma fruit does not feed them more efficiently than at "poor" state. as for frogs and fish (you don't even need plasma fruit to mack plasma packs) no mater the quality of the fish or frogs, same problem, my poor vamp is starving! :'( . if his hunger bar is at 1/2 way it takes 4 plasma packs to quench his thirst. Plasma fruit is a bit better only takes 3. I was under the impression that like with cooking the better the meal the more satisfying right? am I missing something here or is this a rip and I should just R.I.P. my vamp lol?
  • no, the quality has nothing to do with it sadly, it's just not the same as REAL plasma.
The good thing is though, vampires can't die of starvation as far as I know (haven't tested it, but it's what Vlad said).
  • This is exactly why I keep sims in the basement. Trying to feed them plasma fruit and packs gets even worst when you have the weaknesses that affect thirst. So much wasted time trying to fill it that way

Yeah vampires are immune to starving, but they get abit feral and attack the nearest sim. So Vlad is right and not playing the old "Tell a vampire they can't starve so they starve" prank.
  • Are you sure about vampires can't starve? Because I tried to play one once as a Rags to riches thing and she did in fact died from starvation. I was trying to play to where she didn't feed on Sims but only got food from plasma packs. Her hunger bar got really low and then poof she died. It was a long time ago when they first came out so maybe that changed with a patch or something.

I keep fruit and packs in my inventory for emergencies, but it's definitely true that feeding on Sims fills up the bar the most. I haven't even tried to play a vampire that doesn't feed on people at all yet, because I'd just end up cheating their need up. I just have two houses that I always only go to, to feed off the family members, so no other Sims in town will be mad at me.
