Strangerville; anyone else slightly horrified?

I really wish I hadn't watched that trailer. OK, I'm not feeling well at the moment which I know is partly to blame, but still.
And I've seen plenty of horror films in my time that were far worse; maybe the reason I feel like this is because I typically associate the Sims (especially TS4) with pleasant, safe, happy stuff.
Maybe it's just me, but crazy zombie-esque infections, the implication of multiple dislocated joints and plum creepy facial expression has just left me cringing and wanting to avoid everything to do with this pack.

Is it just me?

Well, i obviously want to be immersed in the strangeness that is strangeville, but picture this: a young adult named Norman, work in Business career, doing his life as usual and as normal as possible in Strangeville. Add laundry for extra normalcy.

    That could be done, absolutely.

I personally don't like the new world either, so strangeness aside there's really no incentive for me to buy the pack.
  • I understand how you feel. I am not squeamish but I have never liked, or even understood the point of horror as a genre.

I am with you . I don’t like this pack theme except Militrary career.
