@Valmont I agree it is a pretty world. It is great for gardeners too. Don't solve the mystery and you have a great farm. Let the weather get weird and the farm is still great.

I love Strangerville purely for how weird it is, and also I actually liked having a pack with more of a set story to it. I didn't think I would. And I also love- Spoiler (Highlight to read)the mother plant. There's just something about weird monster-like things that is awesome. Do you use mods? Bienchen created a mod that will do that. You just go to the library to research Strangerville. Once your sim does that, the world resets as if you have completed the storyline.

I love the idea of a mystery series which promises thrills galore, where every episode they just go to a library, sit down and read a book, then smile contently, mystery solved.

I also like the Strangerville world and play it in the normal/solved format. Recently I've been playing a lot in StrangerVille. I'll probably be taking a break for reasons unrelated to the game but I'll definitely continue playing and StrangerVille is one of the worlds that I like to play in. Really, I play with them all but I like that world a lot. It has character. I only wish it had a few more empty lots and that I could re-do the buildings around the main square.

As I play it, Strangerville is closest to Oasis Springs so I send them there when they go to "the city".
