Stray pets in Selvadorada..

It's a sad fact that in South America there are really many stray animals(it's actually a big problem there). But seeing stray pets roaming in jungle(in Selvadorada which is inspired by South-America).. it breaks my heart to see those strays in Selvadorada because it's almost too real

  • SO FAR... (don't wanna jinx it) I've only seen one cat and two dogs that were "strays" in the market place. I'm still exploring the jungle, so I'm not sure about how many more I'll find there (though I can't imagine a jungle full of stray pets).

That's all I have in mine, also. Maybe they are designated strays somehow, like NPCs.

I was happy to see the strays, too, since I was disappointed they were only in BB after Cats and Dogs came out. As it turned out, my Sim family accidentally brought their ghost dog with them on vacation to the jungle so it was nice to see he had some canine company walking around. :-) My Sim is currently trying to befriend one of the strays to take it home.
  • As soon as I bought the Cats & Dogs expansion for my daughter, she had her sims quit their jobs and take on full time responsibility for tracking down strays, taking them in, then finding them homes. I didn't even realize this was an option. Too cute!
  • My save has one dog and two cats. My sim hasn't wandered away from the central market location area however so I don't know about elsewhere.

Awh that's super cute!! Sounds like something I would do if i were younger player sims :)
I only saw 1 cat and 1 dog stray at the cantina. So i don't think they're too bad. I also wish a few would spawn in other worlds. If im not in brindleton bay, I almost forget about pets.
  • If no NPC's stray around in the jungle, there are no stray pets roaming the jungle either. I've not seen any during my trek through it, but I have seen at least one cute dog at the marketplace.
  • I've only seen two cats and was had leopard markings. I hope I see it again. I want my sim to adopt him.
  • I think it was cool to see them there as well. First time my sim, Ara went to vacation she was low on social in the market place so she befriended a dog named Molly. I wasnt planning on having a pet for this sim, but they where best friends in 5 or 6 social interactions and she followed my sim when i traveled. I went to see if i could adopt her and it didn't give me the option to do so. I ended my vacation ealy and invited her to hang out at my place so i could see if the interaction would pop up. It didn't.. i was kinda bummed tried a few things and nothing was working. So finally went to put the dog hangout trait on my house reloaded the game and there she was an hour later. So now shes safe and loved with Ara. Has anyone else tried to adopt a pet on vacation? Just curious to see if the option popped up for you.
