Stuff packs ain't cheap.
At this point of tike there is 14 stuff packs, each cost 10$ that would 140$ for stuff packs compilation and you would hardly get enough content to expand on the base game and keep you interested for ...

If you watched ads you could get store content free. I know. I did. The store was in addition to expansions stuffed with content.
How many people would play with their sims 4 with no stuff packs or game packs? I wouldn't.
