I haven't actually built separate homes, per se, but I have built outlying houses, such as they did in the 18th century. I do like your idea, and may see if I can modify a 64 X 64 lot to accommodate a smaller version of both builds. It's supposed to be a rotation game save, but I confess, I end up spending way more time with the newlyweds!
