Suggestions for getting 2 households to initially interact without playing both?

That's what I always do if two sims dont know each other and you want them to meet up. One of my favorite features if you wanna hook up sims or just get them acquainted and they'll go off and introduce themselves.

Usually plan for a party or at least an event to have said sims in the same place. Or like above use the group features. :)
