Suggestions for getting her to heed the locked door?

I’m playing two Sims in a duplex. A sort of modified TradeOff challenge.

There is a backyard with divided and fully fenced off area/s. Then each unit has it’s front door (of course).
This means that if I locked the front door for owner only, the Sims should stay seperate. Unfortunately Melody seems to be ignoring the lock and going over to Marcus’ unit. For example, she is sitting to eat breakfast. Instead of taking her cereal to her own (and much closer) dining table, she insists on going ‘next door’ to eat at Marcus’ table with him.

Suggestions to fix? Please and thank you.

  • Cheers @CelSims. I was unclear in my original post. The interaction I used was “Lock for everyone except Melody” and “Lock for everyone except Marcus”
In a side note, the dog left for a jog with Melody but refused to come back in through her door after it.
I am also realising Marcus’ front door is acting more like a “except household” no matter what interaction I think I put on it. I am basing this on the evidence that Melody’s dog was hanging out in his unit after the jog too.

Good suggestion @mightysprite, but no. I am playing a modified version of a challenge (TradeOff) for one and trying to test out Autonomy for another.

Unfortunately, dogs are an exception. I've noticed that sims returning from walks/jogs with dogs can enter doors that are supposed to be locked for that sim.
  • Pet doors can be set same as sim doors, so you could give the dog his own door and everyone on the lot has their own dedicated door only they can pass through.
