Suggestions how to run a functioning spaceship in Sims 4?

So I wanted to try a "sci-fi" build by creating a spaceship using some really cool custom content I've seen for objects and clothing. However as the spaceship will be more or less "self contained...

My issue has been when u play with anyy walls down it basically removes them all.
