Surfer frogs super rare?

I have a sim who I decided to actually try to complete the whole frog collection with and...it's freaky, but I have ALL frogs, except absolutely none of the Surfer frog tier. As in 0, which means I can't even breed to unlock some of them.

Are surfer frog varieties really that much rarer than all the rest, or is there some specific places only that you can get them?

Carl's guide doesn't mention that variety as being special or difficult even, so this is baffling to me. I mean...none, nada, zip, zilch...no surfer frogs for me. It's freaky, I know I've gotten them before with Sims where I wasn't even trying to do the collection.

    Didn't find any yet. I hope you can breed the last two. I'm having fun searching for them though. :lol:

    nice. I had a ton of fun with it as well. It has been a very long time since I worked on actually completing a collection in the game. I did get the last two before finally going to bed last night and the plaque is hanging on the wall now. :D

    If only getting the complete collection for wands & Brooms for her was at all possible. I even installed a mod that lets me 'craft' them at a workbench and I still can't manage to get that one complete because, unfortunately, not all of them are craftable even with the mod.
