Swimming in ponds? Please confirm

Is it just me or did they show us sims swimming chest deep in ponds? Can anyone confirm this? https://www.flickr.com/photos/simsvip/51238294091/in/album-72157719403096932/

Ponds aren't swimmable however sims and dogs can wade and play in them. The rivers and lakes in HOB however are swimmable.
