Swimming in ponds? Please confirm

That is not a pond. But the Bagley - the river in Cottage Living - does have swimmable water. The spot I found is in Old New Henford, where a footpath leads right down into the water, with out the fishing sign I was expecting to see there. My Sims opted to swim the river, when directed to introduce themselves to passers-by, rather than walk all the way around by the footbridge, which is how I found it.
