I do, and I know there is a curfew you can set for your kids that you can then discipline them for if they break. However, the family is still up and about when a teen comes home, even younger siblings that would logically be asleep at 2 am or whatever time you return. I had the same issue when playing a mother who owned a restaurant. When she returned late at night her toddlers would be running around instead of being in bed.
I rarely look at the game clock, myself. My young Rock Star does (away) gigs late at night, often in the wee hours. Same with his photoshoots. I don't set a curfew because of that. In the past when we first got Parenthood, I did set curfews. I have to say they are a tad disappointing after Sims2. Often, the police would bring the errant Teen home via their squad car in that iteration. I have seen a parent discipline a Teen in my game to the point where he had the interaction to shove his daughter. I did not choose that one. I suppose, if you wanted to, you as the player, could orchestrate things to have the parents and siblings all in bed when the Teen wished to sneak out of the house. But, I understand your frustration.
