Teens are boring
Like my title says, teens are all same-y, you can't make a delinquent or one that wants to start a band because there's no features that allow teens to do that. It's like they have no identity outside...

In that sense, yes, they can be quite boring and I often find myself wishing they'd just grow up already.
LOL I found myself wishing my teens would grow up already! I gave up on the homework issue long ago IRL. Now I just hope they make good adults
Now in the game there is not much to do with them. I do see a lot more happening when I make a house into a teen hangout, then they do more in the way of interacting with each other.
