Teens going through phase and disturbing bees

i don't know if this is just a glitch or something purposeful. But most of the time i check up on my beehive they're almost always irritated or enraged. And then i find out my teens are going through the "Mean Streak" childhood phase where they just wanna be mean to people, but one of these interactions are disturbing the bee hive. This is absolutely annoying as my bees are always irritated and thus the honey they make comes out poor, and my teens every so often get uncomfortable from the stung moodlet by disturbing the bees.

I know the teens wanna be mean, but that doesn't mean they can be stupid and disturb a BEE HIVE.

-> I am playing the sims seasons with the full 28 days and I started my game in winter ( which I absolutely love hihi :star: ) so I made a glass green house  for my plants and bees. Through out winter they just hibernated and it just made them really angry at my poor sim all time.
NEVERTHELESS , I am already in the 3 week of spring and I made my sim do the "bond with bees" interaction, gather the honey every now and then and also the interaction of 15 Simolonians that i forgot what it was, got o say also my sim did all this interactions with-out the beekeeping suit and let me tell you by the third week I am in spring they are already most of the time calm and happy ( the friendship bar has risen a little bit too ). Now I have unlock a new interaction which is commanding my bees to either "attack" or "send a flirtarious message" ( they run to that sim and all together form a heart she in from of the target sim hihi  )

Hope this has help you a little bit or at least given you a bit more info about this hard to win bandas bees :star:

I think you really misread my post. That isn't my problem. I have no problem bonding with bees i fully know how to treat the bees and gain their trust. My game at the time i posted this thread was during summer. I was bonding with the bees alright. But my real problem was that my sims who were angry or playful would automonously disturbing the bees, and they did this so much that they were constantly angry, every time i tried calming them down, some sim would get playful or get angry and disturb the bees.

To all the others who posted about fencing off their beehive. I'm definitely doing the same until the sim gurus release a patch making it so sims don't disturb bees when they're playful or angry, cause they're two common emotions and them automatically going to disturb the bees, on top of sims being obsessed with new items from a recent released pack.

It's completely ok, it was a little mistake.

Atleast you apologised. Many times before i've made threads on forums asking a question there's always one person who assumed im too dumb and don't know what im doing or misread it and told me something i already know.

OFCOURSE! hahah, when I do a mistake I like to apologize and if I can I like to try to make it better. Hope this got fixed in the new update that they have launched at least
  • My current sim is a goofball, which is one of my favorite traits. I think it gives him so much personality (and surprisingly he hasnt died of hysteria). But, yeah, he playful all.the.time. I kept thinking, nah, he’s not disturbing the bees! He has a toddler so I keep him pretty busy. Those sims, though... they’re a sneaky bunch. Finally caught him and now I’ve realized basically every time he doesn’t have something queued, bees.

I think I’ll just have to accept that my bees aren’t going to have a very peaceful life. :p

Then it's definitely something the gurus have to patch. Idk why sims who are playful would disturb bees, like i get it if they're angry cause angry sims just blow steam off at anything, but playful sims? Being playful doesn't make you want to risk finding out if you're allergic to bee stings.
