I liked that in TS2 and 3 even their most basic default interactions were teen-like and they interacted with the world and items around them the way a teenager would.
I agree, teens should be more meaningful in the game and offer us more to do. Maybe things like High School, Cliques, school trips, sleepovers, prom and learning to drive.
