My favorite sim ever so far was Trevor Thompson. He was the 5th heir in my first ever sims save. From the time he was a teen, he and his twin brother Victor and their older brother Orlando would go camping every weekend. As they got older, they brought their wives, and then their kids, and then it was just Trevor taking his kids, continuing after they were grown to keep in touch. He and his wife had 7 kids, because I planned on six and then they put toddlers in the game so I had to have one more. Neither had a job because the family garden made more money than they needed. Trevor spent his time upgrading appliances and Emma had a cupcake machine and mastered all the cooking skills. Trevor's hobby was fishing, and it drove me nuts that he died of old age with one fish short of getting the whole collection. I was neglecting all the rest of the family to have him fishing most of his elder days, honestly.
He was just a very family oriented, outdoorsy sim that I just loved so much. I never got as attached to his son, or really to the grandson who's the current YA heir in the family. I think that's why I never created an alternative save in the Sims4 until after he died.
Also during his lifetime I built them a new house with three stories and a full basement and an indoor pool and all that (room for seven kids, after all) and the family still had about 600,000 simoleans, so I kind of got bored of the lack of challenge. Somehow that never bothered me because Trevor always had so much going on with his personal goals.
The founder of my current save, Athena, has a more interesting story, but she's not quite as lovable as Trevor.
Every now and again a certain Sim will just grab your heart.
