My favourite sim has to be my Hal.
I) What do they for a career?
He is a freelance writer (and part-time artist and paranormal investigator). He also owns a book shop and sells crafts on Plopsy. However, his dream job would be a freelance musician or horseman so I am hoping they become options in the future.
II) How many members in their family: both immediate household and extended.
He is married, but they don't have any other family or children yet (unless you count his cat Gilbert). I have plans for him to have twins and possibly adopt, but I am waiting/hoping for free babies first.
III) Where do they live? Tell me a little about their house there.
They live in a cosy little cottage in Henford-on-Bagley. I loved Cordelia's Secret Cottage so I decided to renovate it for him. I thought it would be the perfect home for him to raise a family in the countryside. His favourite spots are at his piano or his chair in front of the fire in the living room. He likes to sit there and cross-stitch, drink tea and listen to his gramophone. He also has a reading nook in his bedroom with a rocking chair where he can enjoy the peace and quiet and a sitting area outside where he can watch the birds feed. There are wild rabbits hopping around everywhere and a small paddock which I am hoping one day will be home for his horse.
IV) What challenges do they face? (maybe they live off-the-grid, get abducted or live in a haunted house…)
He is a good vampire so he is always struggling to fight his nature. He tries to keep busy and focus on his hobbies to help manage his thirst and stress. It's not easy, but fun to play. They also live on a simple living lot with wild foxes (and he is married to a werewolf...their poor chickens better watch out).
V) What is their single greatest achievement to date?
Probably completing the Good Vampire aspiration. That was a huge moment for him. He also recently won a Golden Starlight Accolade for his first licensed song, which made me so proud.
VI) In a few words, tell me their idea of the “best” adventure.
We've been on so many adventures together. It's hard to choose a favourite. Possibly doing archaeology at Selvadorada? He is a history buff. We're also about to visit Batuu for the first time.
