Hahaha...that was my reaction too, after I even figured out what was going on. My Sims had to go up a stairs to get into that lounge area, and as they got to the top of the stairs they went running off screen and I could hear a bunch of sobbing and was like "wtf is happening?" Then I panned the camera to that scene and busted a gut.
Even after over a decade of simming, they still like to surprise me with the nonsense.
