Keep in mind that Outdoor Retreat was the first game pack they ever released--it was a new concept to try out. I think that it's great for socializing with your sims and having a vacation in nature. The herbalist skill was neat, as was finding new insects and such. I had fun trying to figure out where the hidden lot/NPC was.
Jungle Adventure has made me super excited--on the same level as Cats & Dogs did. Do I think it's a vast improvement from Outdoor Retreat? Yes. But as a first game pack, I still think Outdoor Retreat is a fun time (and less dangerous). :wink:
jungle adventure just reminds me too much of world adventures and i always felt like that pack felt very out of place with the sims in general. and this pack seems like its going the same direction as well.
