Hey, Halimali1980 & everybody,
I'm grateful to see someone explain this... I had a lot of experience in TS2, but for the most part skipped TS3.
Not realizing all of the aging options, I started a family in TS4 with a bunch of kids and created a legacy family when the oldest daughter moved into a different lot. While I was developing the daughter's family, I was taken aback when I realized that her parents had died of old age at the original lot, and all of the teenagers who were left at that lot were now becoming elders!
I also had downloaded a "kid rich" family to populate the neighborhood with kids. I didn't realize that they were all aging up along with my legacy family.
Everything kind of came undone when a birthday party was thrown for one of the daughter's kids and three guests died of old age during the party.
Getting the family to recover from all the "very sad" emotional baggage from that magnitude of death on the lot took FOREVER, but finally, I can play the game without a bunch of crying and weeping sounds coming from my computer.
So, I'm going to tweek the aging options to see if I can improve my game experience.
Question: will this return the TS2 "Time Warp?" When a family member leaves the lot at 3:00pm for the Library, will she return home at approximately the same time she left? Or will time have continued at the household while she remains at the Library? Does the same apply if a family member separates to go on an individual vacation?
Thanks in advance,
Pete
