I hate Maxis builds simply because they're ugly and lack decorations and taste.
It's like they've been thrown together last minute without much thought put into them.
I get it though, that it's because the base game catalog+1 expansion is very limiting so at least players are encouraged to use the gallery or be creative themselves. Sucks for me because I can decorate homes beautifully, but I just can't design public lot interiors AT ALL :s
