The Fear Of A Dead End Job

It was one thing when I was getting that fear while working in a part-time job, a dead-end job...
I'm suffering the fear and it's lowering of my job performance in the exact career my aspiration is for. How am I supposed to get promoted like this? And, why is she calling the exact career track a dead-end job, and failing to fulfill her dreams?

My sim has clearly lost her mind.

And, she's coming home slamming the refrigerator shut with extreme force in angry outbursts while not angry.

  • Another thing that needs to be fixed is the sniffing.
They sniff every time they enter a room whether it's dusty or clean.
I saw her sniff while about to sit on her toilet, and decided I'm sick of this animation.
  • Here's another one I always see while playing... I Have ZERO Wellness skill, yet my Sims always have controlled emotions in their emotions with high emotional values.
  • Another One: Sims getting fat while only eating two salad servings a day, spaced apart.
  • I hate the fear of dead end job thing. I wouldn't mind it if it was strictly triggered by going a long time without a promotion. In fact, that would give the sims more depth. I also like your suggestion of having it tied to a mismatch between a person's job and their aspirations or personality. As it is, though, a sim can get the fear of a dead end job immediately after getting promoted, even if they're a sporty sim in the athlete career. It's like they decided to give all of the working sims moderate cases of long covid (if you know, you know).

It’s from Snowy Escape when they do mindful things like painting or reading or listening to music anything that is calming. When they reach highest level you can surge emotion which will give them powerful emotion for example flirty or focused (it could be bad one if you want as well).

Fear of dead end job can be conquered just before going to work by choosing option to regain passion for work. But if you don’t want to bother simply go to game options, click “not show wants and fears” and this will delete all wants and fears (moodlet will stay with a timer on it). Then turn on wants and fears. There is currently a bug where they appear despite turning them off after each loading screen, but the option works nicely if you want to get rid of unwanted fear. If you want to do it through gameplay use fear-b-gone from reward store. You need 300 satisfaction point for one bottle.

As for the gaining weight do you use any mods or such? Because when my sims eat salad and do some sport they become extra slim. They most fattening food in game in my experience is pizza (and sweets). Or maybe your sim gained weight before starting to eat salad? In that case let them hit the gym.
