I'm glad to read about this because I don't have the Cottage Living Pack (and have no plans to buy it, as I've discovered basically that anything Sims4 can do, Sims3 did better years ago) but reading about how boring these country fairs are, I couldn't help but feel like they are accurate descriptions of real country or county fairs I've been to.
Maybe it's because sows, cows, and plows are no novelty for me from having enough familiarity to breed contempt, in childhood, that a hay-strewn, manure-scented day under the baking sun while waiting to find out whose hog was fattest, doesn't thrill me.
Apologies to the people who make country and county fairs happen, and those who compete in them, for my lack of appreciation or understanding.
