The Great Fruitcake Debate

Meant to put "Ew, no, it's gross! But the majority of my sims love it." But I love the in-game fruitcake, because when I do a challenge where my sims start off with no money, that fruitcake will be their lifeline for days at a time.

You guys are cracking me up!

Although I don't actually hate it (I'd rather have fruitcake than tuna, for example), it's not something I eat if I can avoid it. Most of my sims hate it.

All my sims hate and that's why I hate it too! I don't really hate it in real life but I don't like it either. I'll have to admit that it is a nice gesture to give the new neighbours fruitcake.

I don’t think I can vote on this one. My sims don’t receive or eat fruitcake. I personally, don’t mind it.

Jesminder Bheeda let her toddlers live on it while she got drunk all the time in my game. :D

You know, you can send them to pubs to grab free chips if they're broke. A Sim of mine or two have been known to do that.

I've never had it and my sims have never heard of it. ;) ;)

I heard bad things and it doesn't seem like what I'd actually call "cake." Seems lessor.

I honestly think it should be considered a crime to ruin cake with fruit. :D

I am forced to qualify my answer. I love it, if it's made correctly, and SOME of my Sims like it. I found it totally hilarious that my one Sim, who was greeting her neighbor and brought the fruitcake didn't like it herself. LOL Perhaps, it was a gift from her mother-in-law and she was trying to be rid of it?
