When my sim self's sister's son Matthew aged up to an infant, Eleanor Sullivan wanted to help out. I accepted her help but forgot my sim self's sister only has two bedrooms, one of which is occupied by two toddlers, so this is where Eleanor had to sleep during her stayover:
Dear Eleanor, she was a big help when Silas had his first alien baby. The problem was that being an elder, she died just as the baby aged up to toddler and the poor child had the sad moodlet for a couple of days which made her progress quite difficult.
carendunaI don't know if she's bugged but she hasn't been much help on this stay over. During the three days she's been with this household she's out of the house very early and back early evening. Just now she was out at 7am and can no longer be seen on the lot despite the stay over event still having one day left on the calendar.

Brd709The time shift of their career affects the time they go out. From my experience, the stay-over guy is a Mixologist from 2 PM-10 PM. He leaves the lot during that time.
You will know her work shift if you have a "Show Sim Info" mod or some mod that can show it. But from what you said, it's 6 AM-2 PM. NPC Mixologist will work every day without a day off.
Eleanor isn't a mixologist at first, she's
unemployed(sorry, I remember wrong, she has part-time job as babysitter). But the game (that has Get Famous EP) will assign existing sims to some roles when you visit that lot. This progress is not by mod itself. So, you can see some familiar premade sims being mixologists in some bars and lounges and it's different in each save.
The kitchen is not a good place to sleep! 🙂
