I really appreciate the transparency. However, it would be helpful to mark some bugs as 'work in progress' or to share a bug fix roadmap with us. Some issues are very old and seem forgotten.

Thanks for calling this out Sthenastia​. The conversion of the Answers HQ style reporting system to the new EA Forums system lets us do this pretty easily. 

Technically anything below Incomplete Report in the table below (you can see this on the right side of the screen in the bug reports board) is under investigation: 

 

The end result seen above was focused on finding the right balance of information to share, choosing meaningful milestones over inundating you with a million statuses to track where a bug is on its journey. That being said, the table above is by no means final, we can (and will) edit things as we need to and add new statuses should the need arise. 

I'm always open to feedback, if you have any to share on how we can best help these forums meet your needs, please do so here.

In my opinion, the issue is that there are too many bugs grouped under a single label, which makes it really difficult to tell what’s actually close to being resolved.

Maybe it would help to introduce a kind of tier list to better reflect progress and give a clearer picture of where things stand. For example:

Tier 1 – Nearing Resolution
Bugs in final review or with fixes nearly ready to go.

Tier 2 – Actively Being Worked On
Currently assigned and under active investigation.

Tier 3 – In Review or Queued
Investigated, but not yet scheduled for a fix.

Tier 4 – Under Initial Assessment
Newly reported or still being triaged.

Tier 5 – On Hold or Low Priority
Waiting on more info, blocked, or considered low priority for now.

    I like this idea. It would make it easier to know where certain bugs are in the processes of being fixed.
