Everyone knows I am one of the more critical simmers. When I first saw the pic for little campers I was excited .I bought this the moment it was aviable.This was my first kit and my first experience with one . Definitely worth it!I put the new swing, chair and gaming table into my sims' backyard, where they go nicely with the Eco Living furniture. The kit is a natural fit for households that use handmade or off grid aesthetics, not just for camping.

I tried to see if my sims could interact with the blanket and pillow, I imagined them laying on the ground to watch the flick or sleep but everything looks visually great as usual.

Maybe one day sims can lay and sit on the blankets! That's the only thing missing that would make this perfect. I can't praise this kit enough though and I don't even have it yet!??

and can I just say you can size down the playtent from Dream Home decorator and put it in the blanket fort and you get all the interactions...just looks like your sim has a teeny tent dollhouse in there with them!!LOL

and can I just say you can size down the playtent from Dream Home decorator and put it in the blanket fort and you get all the interactions...just looks like your sim has a teeny tent dollhouse in there with them!!LOL

I am warming up to this kit more than I expected. I like that there are a lot of objects sims can actually do something with. I think I prefer this approach over kits with mainly decorative items.

An additional benefit is there for those who have very few packs because there are several items you don't have in base game but can get for a cheap price now like the swings (seasons or island living) , the campfire (outdoor retreat) or the game table (get to work)

The game table is base game, but not sure if can play Don't Wake the ~~Llama~~ Yeti without Get Together.

I really wish they had made this kit into a stuff pack with some new gameplay. We haven't had any stuff packs in over a year. The kit looks nice, but I also can't help but be disappointed.

What sort of new gameplay would you like with it??
I think they could of made a few more kid friendly interactions, like adding a campout to the events section, having kids be able to play with each other (like pattycake or throwing a ball to each other to increase motor skills, fun and social).
Also they could of let kids toast marshmallows/make smores for a small cooking gain.

As a kit I'm delighted with it. Do I wish it had been a Stuff pack with some gameplay we didn't have, yes but for some reason the Stuff packs seem to be a thing of the past.
So for a kit, it's great. I've set up a kids outdoor movie theatre in a park, and put the blanket fort outside a rental in Selvadorado with the camp bed and firepit.
The swatches all match beautifully so it's easy to colour theme a room.
For the price it's great value and as @Atreya33 said a cheap way for people to obtain a swingset or game table without buying an ep.
