The Meat Wall (happy thread)

I finally have one and what a super practical thingamajig it is.

I wish something like that existed in real life - it would be so much easier to go vegetarian or even vegan. Somehow, I feel it is akin to the cowplant which is just as odd.

Also, I'm reminded of another game called Planetbase where your little colonists can grow synthetic meat. So, it's actually a pretty futuristic concept.

Now, I'm also a WoW player among other things which means I'm used to all kinds of weird stuff. And I find that I cannot in any way be shocked or disgusted by the Sims 4 little "meat wall". It's a good, fun and animal-friendly idea completely in tune with other Sims weirdness. I call mine Harry Potter and it will gets its regular massages to stay fibrous and springy :D

Do you have one? What do you call it? Where have you put it? Mine is in the kitchen.

@Hermitgirl have you looked in to glasses that block blue light from computers/tablets/phones? I have ones that clip on my glasses & they seem to help with headaches from computer use. Got them off Amazon & I think they had full-frame ones also.

@Hermitgirl Well when you get back to using the computer there is an app called Pomy - it gets you to look away from the screen every 20 minutes. That helps. Also cats, cats have a way of sitting on your hand, the keyboard, and directly in front of the screen to get you to stop looking at it.

Okay, I've never actually used the meat wall before because I had no reason to, but with Cottage Living and the Simple Living lot trait, I do. So, my question is how do you harvest it? I've planted it, watered it, massaged it, but there's no option to harvest any faux meat from it?

You get it by playing the Civil Enginner career. But you can also get it from the gallery. :)

That’s strange I’ve been trying to find it thinking it was a separate item of which I think it should be
I’ll have to download it from the gallery then ?
