There is some confusion and disappointment in this thread about a somewhat minor change in the game. I think I understand where you are coming from though. This change could be symptomatic of a much wider overhaul of terminology and a exaggerated sensitivity in media in general and TS in particular. So I will tell you two very helpful things:
1. This has happened throughout time. A good example are the racist cartoons of the 1930s and 1940s. Certainly considered distasteful and cringeworthy to any sensible human being today, but considered a hoot and a half back then. When these cartoons were called out for what they were on a broad scale, a lot of people were sad. They could not see the harm, because their skin was light and they lacked empathy. But they got over it and found new things to laugh about. This is a sign that humanity is evolving, it is nothing to worry about.
2. Once you have understood the following, it will change your life: Just because you are not offended by something, that does not mean it is not offensive.
