I play with aging off because I don't like to hurry. In my game, toddlers eventually get aged up to children, children to teens and teens to young adults, but I am yet to age a sim past that. I don't want for the premades to die off ( had to let it happen in a challenge with aging on, hated it, never again), so they remain frozen in time. I may consider turning aging on if my save gets too crowded, though.
