The pros and cons of playing with aging on or off

Aging off keeps all the premades, who are all rather colorful characters.
With aging most of them inevitably die, but it gives the opportunity for someone new to rise.
And sometimes game creates awesome sims.
This, along with Command Center, is the main way for me to keep the game interesting.
