My apologies for starting a new spammers thread, but the old one is not very user-friendly on the new forums. Plus, it's in the sims franchise discussion section--not sure what that's about. Anyways...

My Making Money sim Athena, will never reach her goal, because she keeps spending her money. She built a new house on the Rifugio dei Pirati lot, and she keeps adding to it. The latest is a remodel of the kitchen with cool new kitchen appliances and the adding of an basement, complete with an cellar garden, a nectary, a place for making jewellery and for binding bouquets.
I also have her upgrade everything in the house. She's already at level 8 in the Handiness skill.
She will reach her goal and be happier while doing so! It might just take a little longer. But I am sure it will be worth it so she doesn't get bored or frustrated and maybe start hating her job and burn out or go through an early midlife crisis or something. Plus it will be nicer for having friends over and who knows, she might even want a pet. Just sayin :)
