I think between the anniversary and the Sims 5 news they have totally lost the soul of the Sims, lost Simmers loyalty, and too dependent on technology doing the work for them. It is as if anything human that made the Sims the Sims and communication has been completely replaced by robots or something like a Doctor Who Cyberman and Dalek takeover.
