The Sims™ 4, life to date, has almost 36 million players

Well I personally believe that part of the growth from 2020-2021 was because of lock-downs and the pandemic. People were stuck inside bored and were looking for entertainment.

It would be interesting to see how they would have done if 2020-2021 had been a typical, average year among people's lives.
