  • January – January 12 Patch Notes
    • Pack Released: The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack
    • Base Game Update: New Lifestage: Toddlers. Additional content for Toddlers includes: 8 Traits (Angelic, Fussy, Silly, Charmer, Independent, Wild, Clingy, and Inquisitive), Full Body Outfits, Tops, Bottoms, Socks, Leggings, Shoes, Glasses, Hats, Hairs (and colors), freckles, teeth, 2 Toddler Beds, 3 High Chairs, Wabbit Tablet, Nesting Blocks, Chomper the Devourer Toy Box, Toddler sized Dollhouse, Bookshelf with 12 Toddler Books, 2 Potty Chairs, 6 new toy box toys (bus, kitty, bear, ducky, butterfly, and Tentacle Tom), 2 curtains, 5 wall decals, a light for the floors and a light for ceilings, a dresser, a rug, a wall shelf, an end table, a wall sculpture, living chair, 4 decorated toddler doors, and 7 walls and 2 floors.

    • PC/Mac Pack Released: The Sims 4 Cats & Dogs Expansion Pack
    • Console Pack Released: The Sims 4 Base Game, The Sims 4 Perfect Patio Stuff Pack, The Sims 4 Vintage Glamour Stuff Pack, The Sims 4 Vampires Game Pack,The Sims 4 City Living Expansion Pack
    • Base Game Update: Four new roofs (Pentagonal, Hexagonal, Octagonal, and Round), New Roof Curavture Mode, Gabled and Hipped roofs have new manipulation points that can be adjusted on all 4 sides. Photopgrahy now available for all players: Build/Buy Objects (Barely Better Digital Camera, Appreciably Average Digital Camera, and Crystal Clear Digital Camera), Cell Phone Interactions (Take Selfie, Take Photo With, Take Photo Of, and Take Photo), Photography skill can be learned by your Sims up to Level 5, Photos taken with camera can have frames added to them. New Maximum Sim Count option in Gameplay Options menu. Size Down Cheat. Grim's Ghoulish Guiter now optionally available in main menu.

    • Base Game Update: Glass Roofs!!! Cold Weather and Hot Weather Outfit categories plus Swimwear category for toddlers added to CAS. Re-traiting potion ( allows to swap out your traits). Gardening Skill overhaul and more: Updates to plants watering needs. Seed Packets can be now placed on the ground and bought in build mode. Gardening equipment is in the Gardening sort option in Build mode and Gardening Evolution has been stream lined. Uncommon and Rare Seed can be bought (if you have high enough skill), plants can now be researched (notes in ... notebook) to learn about growing seasons, sell price and more. Harvestables can be sold directly from the plant and most interactions now have an "area of effect" option at higher levels so you can garden more quickly and efficiently.

  • July - July 10, Console July 19 and July 31 Patch Notes
    • Console Base Game Update: Performance improvements to smooth and shorten load times, the Auto Save feature improvements, My Library expanded with creations from The Sims 4 Community, Piece of Cake Bakery added to My Library, roofs are now scaleable in Build Mode


  • August 16 -August Patch Notes
    • Base Game Update: Screenshots taken using the C key are no longer fuzzy. There are now three new hairs, as well as a head wrap and stubbly beard. Lots of other content like makeup, sliding doors and furniture!

  • September - Console September 6 and Xbox One September 13 Patch Notes
    • Console Base Game Update: Simmers can now add glass roofs to their builds, and we overhauled the Gardening Skill. You can now rename save files, and delete save files. Extra content was dded to CAS. You can now re-roll your traits by buting a re-training potion with your satisfaction points.

  • October - Console October 31 Patch Notes
    • Console Base Game Update:For some Simmers, 5 saves was not enough so we have bumped that up to a 10 save capacity plus your Autosave. There were also quality of life and stability changes to smooth out your experience.
