I am sorry but this is exactly what is holding the game back. The team shouldn't be held back by 32 bit gamers. You might need to accept that if you want to enjoy more complex content you WILL HAVE to upgrade your computer to a faster 64 bit system. I know money doesn't grow on trees but the game is being held back by Sim fans who don't accept that technology rapidly changes and that they need to upgrade their computers for more advanced games. Just a fact.
I upgraded my laptop a few years ago, it lagged way too much with my cheaper laptop, but when they tell you the specs you are going to need to play the game, they should really have the game planned out and be able to tell you what specs you are going to need to complete the game. It’s not really fair when you start a game thinking you are going to be able to finish it with the same specs. They should tell you from the beginning what kind of specs you will need to add all expansions. I’m sure there are quite a few people who cannot afford to upgrade their computer, and it really just doesn’t seem fair to them, they should have thought about that before giving specs for the game, it really is akin to false advertising.
Unfortunately, that's not practical. The game is more than 5 years old. They don't want to lock themselves into certain requirements where it's best to be flexible and when they don't have the end of the game planned at its launch. They can't properly predict that. Also, it's not false advertising - they explain in the TOU/TOS that the game is a service that can change.
