Same ? no the negativity doesn't stop me from having fun in my game. I was having a blast last night. But it really sours the mood of the forum. I can't be the only one genuinely excited for more years of this game. ?

I just use Twitch too. More people there talking about the game since they are actively playing and streaming the game too. Plus dealing with bugs is taken more with humor than seriousness. It's a fine balancing act. I find Twitter to be too depressing to join personally. Plus nice some of the Gurus engage with the community live on Twitch too. SimGuruGraham got me into Twitch playing Destiny and let's just say it helped me see the Sims community in a new light and helped. I actually take feedback both positive and negative and in between from forums and engage with Gurus on Twitch about it. Kind of nice being able to weed through the noise and get to the real meat of ideas. Something I've developed with time which is actually a fun skill to use for career jobs too engaging with others. Forums has helped me tackle the fear of man, so I'm less scared now talking to others. Plus good way to practice weeding out fake friends as well. You learn a lot about people by their feature requests.
