All they have to do is play The Sims 1/2/3. In 1 and 2 lies the magic of the franchise, 3 is more a technical evolution but with good EPs like "Into the future".
The new sentiment system is something that I wanted for years, present in previous versions of the game. It need to be tweaked, but it is the beginning. Here is a short list of things that I want to see in a hypothetical 4.5:
- Magic like "The Sims: Makin' Magic" (useful magic and funny, not like The Sims 4: Realm of Magic).
- Retail stores like "The Sims 2: Open for Business" (they have to fix all the bugs present in The Sims 4: Get to Work, and have an actual cashier and bags!).
- Wants and fears, and memories like "The Sims 2".
- Life stage configuration like "The Sims 3" (not the actual, short, normal, long).
- More humor and memorable moments like "The Sims 1"
- Little details, "The Sims 2" is full of them.
I am not asking for open world, editable neighbourhood, or something else because the game engine has its limitation. I am only asking for few things that made the old games the best franchise of all times.
