The Sims 4: Enabling Profile Comments in the “Gallery”

Go to http://simsvip.com/ and scroll down to see.


The Sims 4 Gallery is now tied together with your Origin ID, and any privacy settings you have enabled on Origin, will also carry over to your in gallery profile. As you can see in the photos below, Crinrict’s profile has the comments section disabled, while Lazy Game Reviews has the comments section enabled:

Both users have different privacy settings on Origin, which then determine the privacy settings of the Sims 4 gallery profile. It doesn’t matter whether you are following someone, or whether they’re following you, unless your privacy settings are set to “public” in Origin, no one will be able to comment on your profile.

To enable commenting on your Sims 4 gallery profile, open the Origin client (or go to your Profile on Origin.com) and select “Privacy Settings”. To enable commenting, “allow everyone” to view your profile page.

You are able to Delete and Report comments on your profile.

    What are the pros and cons of enabling comments on your profile? I've never made my mypage or facebook public at all. So, it is unclear to me why one would? I am truly interested though in knowing more about this.

    I don't no much about it but you can read it if you click on the link, or go to your Gallery. and click around and you will find out about it more.

    Someone who commented on a lot I uploaded to the gallery said he couldn't comment on my profile. So, I changed my Origin profile's privacy settings to everyone from the default of friends and it should be good now. Thanks!

    I went to check my setting because I've never had a comment. Turns out it's not about my settings :D

    As much as we try to avoid necroposting, happens to everyone at some point, don't worry too much :smile:
