While I am enjoying the game so far, I feel like there are some things that could have been done to make the game more funny and dynamic. Foremost on my mind is the fact that a lot of potentially hilarious negative moodlets have text only and no cosmetic/aesthetic effect. For example, if a Sim goes to high school, encounters some bullies and the encounter doesn't go well, they receive the "Epic Wedgie" moodlet. When my Sim received this I half expected him to come home with his underwear pulled over his head, which would've been amazing, but it seemed a lot more anti-climactic the way it was. Or the "Splotchy Body Paint" moodlet from the painting career could have the Sim come home with multicolored body paint all over them. Just a suggestion, but I think it would help the game a lot.
