"Shh...Dashi's asleep," he said to Dot.
Dot nodded, whispering.
"That's good. I think bro's needed this vacation."
"Yeah," said Caleb. "I actually planned this even before he suggested we go somewhere. I...um...overheard what he said in the room. Things have been a bit better since we moved, but Patricia didn't help."
"Ah don't mind that peach," said Dot. "Things have been better. Plum, Dash actually made a friend with kids of her own. At least you two aren't living in San Myshuno anymore."

"Did you need to remind of that place?"
"Sorry," said Dot, continuing. "I mean...It was only a month."
"Yeah...And I had to pretend you were my girlfriend when we went anywhere. You know how hard that is on a relationship?"
"I know, I know. Like I said though, at least we don't live there anymore. And Newcrest is probably one of the best places for Britt and Bryte to grow up in. A vast library, clean park. Sure there's no mall nearby, but at least the town is quiet."
"Yeah I know," said Caleb. "Let's...finish this game."

"Hey, Caleb?" said Dot. "I know we had to pretend we were a couple in San Myshuno, but...well...sometimes I can see why Dash fell for you. Don't take that the wrong way: You and I would never be together since I know you're into Dash. But it does make me hope that maybe I can meet someone with your charm someday."
Caleb smiled.
"Thanks, Dot. I'll take that as a compliment. Good night."
