I play on an iMac from 2008, and I was notified that I would have to install the Legacy edition to continue playing. I ignored it for a while, until I was no longer even able to open TS4 without it crashing. After I downloaded legacy, my save files were gone. I moved them from the original sims 4 folder to the sims 4 legacy folder, fine. Save files are back. I thought it would be fine, until I discovered that I cannot access the gallery, cannot download new DLC packs, and the game updates that have been released since then are also not transferring over. I understand that the game is moving forward with technology to be better, but can't there be some sort of work around for the large number of community members who do not have the financial means to keep up? I don't want to halt progress, but it seems unfair to leave so many of us in the dust. I have invested a large amount of time and money into TS4 and am very disappointed by this whole situation.
