@DezzyFox seems fair. For PC users. What they did to the Mac users is far more worse. I have a 2011 64-bit iMac with 16GB. I play on high settings, use a lot of mods and the game barely lags. But EA decided that besides 64-bit Mac users also need to have "metal", which my Mac doesn't support. Thanks to that decision my 2012 Mac Mini is allowed to load the Sims, although the game lags terribly and is practically unplayable, but my strong 2011 iMac only has Sims 4 Legacy. Quite funny, huh?
Okay so first of all....Mac has ONLY been 64-bit, so let’s get that straight. Second of all EA didn’t decide Mac needed Metal, APPLE aka Mac’s creator decided Mac needed Metal. And whatever Metal is must affect how the Sims work so it’s required when updating to the latest OS.
